Chopp, M.D., and Dr. Joseph R. Our doctors will provide 24-hour, round the clock coverage. A physician is available at all times for patient questions.
The appointment secretary at our office arranges scheduling for all our providers, who are available Monday through Friday.
Your initial examination will be comprehensive, as we do our best to complete all necessary tests, explain results, and make recommendations.

Thomas E. Goodwin
Dr. Goodwin has performed over 10,000 shoulder surgeries in Boise, Idaho during his 28-year career. The surgeries are comprised of a wide variety of arthroscopic shoulder procedures, rotator cuff repair, surgery for the unstable shoulder, and shoulder replacement for the arthritic shoulder joint. Dr. Goodwin provides both nonoperative care and surgical intervention, if needed, for the entire spectrum of shoulder problems.
Thomas M. Chopp
Dr. Chopp has extensive training and experience in treatment of the athlete’s shoulder from youth to the active adult. Over the past fourteen years Dr. Chopp has provided care of shoulder fractures, traumatic soft tissue injuries, and sports related injuries of the entire shoulder complex; to include all-arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and instability procedures- most of which are completed on an outpatient basis.
Joseph R. Lynch
Dr. Lynch is native to the Pacific Northwest and a graduate of Harvard University. He is a fellowship-trained shoulder & elbow surgeon, and has a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine. He has been in active practice since 2008. As a former Associate Professor of Surgery, Dr. Lynch has taught the requisite skills of shoulder and elbow surgery to numerous orthopedic surgical residents and countless medical students from across the country.
