Thomas E. Goodwin, M.D.
Thomas was raised in Titusville, Pennsylvania.
He graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1974 and Tulane University School of medicine in 1978. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in 1983. Dr. Goodwin is Board Certified in orthopedic surgery. He has practiced orthopedic surgery in the Treasure Valley since 1987, opening his clinic sub-specializing in shoulder care in May 2002.
Experience
Dr. Goodwin has performed over 5000 shoulder surgeries in Boise, Idaho during his 20 year career. The surgeries are comprised of a wide variety of arthroscopic shoulder procedures, rotator cuff repair, surgery for the unstable shoulder, and shoulder replacement for the arthritic shoulder joint.
Dr. Goodwin provides both nonoperative care and surgical intervention, if needed, for the entire spectrum of shoulder problems. |

Thomas M. Chopp, M.D.
Thomas was raised in Grand Rapids, Minnesota and graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1984. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in 1985 and went on to complete his fellowship at Hughston Sports Medicine Foundation in 2000, with emphasis on shoulder surgery. Dr. Chopp is Board Certified in orthopedic surgery. He has practiced shoulder surgery for the past 7 years in South Dakota before relocating to Boise, to partner with Dr. Goodwin. |

Robert Buzzini, PA-C
Rob began his career in medicine as an Intensive Care Paramedic with Ada County Emergency Medical Services, where he spent 11 years in Emergency Medicine.
He attended Boise State University where he graduated with his Bachelors degree in health science and graduated from the University of Washington Medical School Physician Assistant program.
As a Physician Assistant, Rob has worked in Neurosurgery, orthopedic trauma, and orthopedic spine surgery. While remaining in orthopedics he is now specializing in surgical and non-surgical treatment involving the shoulder. He is very pleased to be a member of the Shoulder Clinic of Idaho. |

Kathryn "KC" Colson, P.A.-C
Kathryn is a native Boisean. Kathryn attended Boise State University and graduated as a registered nurse in 1982. She continued on to a Bachelors of Health Science degree and graduated from the University of Washington Medical School Physician Assistant program in 1990.
As a Physician Assistant, Kathryn has experience ranging from surgery to family medicine, as well as being Board Certified in Medicine and Surgery.
She is married to a Boise native and is an avid polo enthusiast. |

Kym C. Hills, R.N., B.S.N.
Kym is a Registered Nurse who assists Dr. Goodwin in the office and responds to all clinical inquiries posed by our patients. In 1996 Kym graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She returned to Boise State University in 1998 to receive her Bachelors degree in Nursing. Kym has been practicing with Dr. Goodwin since May of 2002 when he founded The Shoulder Clinic of Idaho. |

Peggy Jackson, R.N., B.S.N.
Peggy is a Registered Nurse who assists Dr. Chopp in the office.
She graduated with a B.S.N. of nursing in 1974 form the University of North Dakota. Peggy has been living and working in Boise since 1978. |
