Dr. Lynch and the staff at The Idaho Shoulder Clinic have been absolutely amazing.

Dr. Lynch and the staff at The Idaho Shoulder Clinic have been absolutely amazing. They are hands down the most compassionate and caring group of physicians that I have encountered here in the valley. (and with a family of 3 boys we have seen our fair share of doctors)
I was treated for over a year by another local hospital/medical group with absolutely no progress. I suffered a shoulder problem that isn't common and I could not get anyone to fix it. Instead, I was given cortisone shots, months of physical therapy, and my pain continued to get worse. Thankfully I heard from a friend about The Shoulder Clinic and I went for a second opinion. When I met Dr. Lynch I knew things would be different. He took his time and listened to my whole story, and in the end was willing to help me.
I am SO very thankful for Dr. Lynch's willingness to treat me, and perform a surgery that is not routine but one that I so desperately needed. I knew I was in the best hands with Dr. Lynch (that Harvard diploma is no small thing) but more importantly to me is the time, caring and understanding that Dr. Lynch gives to his patients!

Dr. Lynch and his team, Mike and April, provided the highest level of personal service

Dr. Lynch and his team, Mike and April, provided the highest level of personal service that I have ever experienced in a medical setting. As a person that has had several major surgeries, the level of caring and professional treatment provided by this team has been exceptional. Dr. Lynch and every person that I have spoken with at The Shoulder Clinic truly cares about providing outstanding service. My procedure went exactly as Dr. Lynch explained with no issues. Great work!

I could not be happier with the results.

Dr. Lynch replaced both my shoulders in 2018. I could not be happier with the results. Almost immediate gains in flexibility. Pain was very manageable. He is a great technician and has a wonderful bedside manner too. His PA and nurse are also great. Absolutely no administrative hassles. Dr Lynch also communicates well with my PT in Ketchum. I have recommended Dr. Lynch to friends with shoulder issues.

nonpareil

once it was determined that I was a candidate for a "total shoulder replacement,"i immediately began the search for the best orthopedic surgeon specializing in this type of surgery. taking a couple of weeks to research my options, dr joseph r. lynch and the shoulder clinic of boise clearly stood "nonpareil" above the others. my initial meeting with dr. lynch was a very informative discussion from pre-op thru the procedure to post-op questions confidently and with an unexpected "gravitas." his excellent assisting staff of mike nierath (pa-c) and april reed(r n) were additionally supportive. subsequent physical therapy has shown results beyond my expectations. a return to activities with full range of motion, being "pain free" while living a normal life, have been a great encouragement to this aging athlete!

I am so thankful I was referred to the Shoulder Clinic of Idaho

Dr. Lynch was willing and able to patch me up when other surgeons told me it couldn't be done. I am so thankful I was referred to the Shoulder Clinic of Idaho and grateful for all they have done for me. It's quite obvious they care about their patients before, during, and after the procedure.

Miracle Worker

After years of football, wrestling, motorcycle, and bicycle injuries my left shoulder was a wreck. Dr. Lynch fixed my rotator cuff and repaired a badly torn tendon. Pre surgery pain was a pretty consistent 7. After surgery its at an 2. Range of motion has dramaticly increased, my activity level has increased. I am less irratable and all around the quality of life has really improved. Dr. Lynch and his staff are absolutly amazing. There kind, courteous, and professional. I would absolutely reccomend them!!!

Dr Joe Lynch Replaced My Right Shoulder & It's Amazing!!

Dr. Lynch was referred to me after 2 rotator cuff repairs were unsuccessful and it was time for a total shoulder.. I had surgery early August of 2018, The procedure only took a little over an hour and a half as compared to the 3 hours of surgery to replace my right knee in 2010 and 4 hours to replace my left wrist in 2012. I'm 67, skiing since age 10 with over 45 years in skiing as a retired competitor, coach and alpine official. The post op pain and recovery, compared to the 2 previous implant replacements..was a walk in the park! Dr. Lynch, Mike his PA, nurse April and the entire staff were awesome, extremely attentive to all my concerns and needs! In my opinion, Dr. Lynch and his staff at The Shoulder Clinic if Idaho are the best shoulder replacement team in Idaho, if not the whole country! I carry his cards in my wallet and refer him evert time I have the opportunity to do so.
