Dr. Chopp is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of orthopaedic surgery. He has practiced orthopaedic surgery for the past twenty-five years and is now serving the Treasure Valley and the Tri-state area.
Dr. Chopp has extensive training and experience in treatment of the athlete’s shoulder from youth to the active adult. Dr. Chopp provides care of shoulder fractures, traumatic soft tissue injuries, and sports related injuries of the entire shoulder complex; to include all-arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and instability procedures. For the arthritic and rotator cuff deficient shoulder, Dr. Chopp provides both non-operative and surgical treatment to include superior capsular reconstruction and partial, total, and reverse total shoulder arthroplasty.
